Long ago, in the Moldovan lands, a legend appears about an unusual tree called "Tătuca", a miraculous oak, which came to Earth from the cosmos, capable of healing diseases and bringing joy and magic to people's lives. Entire generations worship it, but the peace is shattered when, in 1899, a greedy boyar cuts down the tree to steal its magical power. The miraculous bark of the tree then disappears for a long time. Nowadays, the bark of "Tătuca" reappears in the Ethnography Museum in Chișinău, but quickly becomes the target of a robbery ordered by Aartur, a rich and treacherous collector. Following the failed robbery, the bark accidentally ends up with Eva, a simple and kind-hearted little girl. Eva brings the magical tree back to life, becoming inseparable friends. Eva tries to keep the miraculous tree a secret, but its fame attracts the attention of the public and Aartur, who sends two inept thieves to steal the tree again, causing comical situations. The police investigation complicates things even more, and Eva and her friends must fight to save the magic of the tree. In the end, even though "Daddy" is cut down, magic and kindness prevail, and the legend is reborn.
