• The present Terms and Conditions of use of the RAVAC platform - Alternative Audio Visual Network of Cinemas apply to orders for the purchase of products/services offered by RAVACFEST SRL through the website www.FILM.md in collaboration with various Event Organizers (such as film screenings), Producers, Distributors, and other rights holders.

  The use of the website www.FILM.md and the services offered by RAVACFEST SRL for the purchase/acquisition of services offered (movie tickets) implies the express and full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

  For the proper use of the website, we recommend carefully reading the presented Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to make changes to these provisions without prior notice.

  1. General provisions

  This website is managed by RAVACFEST SRL. By registering an order in the online store, the Buyer accepts the Terms and Conditions of sale of goods/products and/or provision of services based on the legislation of the Republic of Moldova (hereinafter - Terms and Conditions) presented below.

  The use of the website implies acceptance of the Terms and Conditions proposed by RAVACFEST SRL, in accordance with Law no. 284/2004 on Electronic Commerce. The relationship between the client and the seller is established based on Law no. 105/2003 on Consumer Protection and other legislative acts adopted in accordance with it.

  The Seller reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions, and the Buyer is obliged to monitor the changes.

• 2. Protection of personal data

  By using the website www.FILM.md, you automatically agree to the collection and processing of personal data, which are necessary for processing/confirming/executing orders.

  Personal data is processed only for legitimate purposes, such as providing the products you order, promotions, Google Analytics, cookies, and notifications/newsletters.

  All information containing personal data is stored and used only for the period necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected and in accordance with the provisions of Law no. 133/2011 on the protection of personal data.

  We use commercial security measures to prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information on the site. The transmission of data over the internet or through a wireless network cannot be completely secure. Therefore, like other companies, we cannot guarantee the security of the information provided by the Buyer, so he/she will do so at his/her own risk.

• 3. Registration and payment of the order

  Payment of orders is possible with a payment card - upon receipt of the order, you will receive the fiscal receipt confirming the payment.

  Online payment is made under maximum security using the payment card, which allows online transactions. After making the payment, you will receive a payment confirmation to your email address.

  The payment processor uses a secure system based on the latest version of the 3D-Secure security standard, which means a new global approach to authenticating buyers in secure online transactions. This security measure involves redirecting the user at the time of payment to a secure page where the authentication of each cardholder is done by assigning a one-time-use code for each online transaction.

  The refund of funds is made only to the payment card used for the purchase.

  To make a payment, you will need to enter your bank card details. The transfer of this information is done in accordance with all necessary security measures. The information is transmitted in encrypted form and is stored only on a specialized server of the payment system.

  For payment, the following data will be requested:

  • Card number (16 digits)
  • Expiration date (month and year)
  • CVC or CVV code (3 digits)
  • Name and surname on the payment card

  If the currency of the card differs from the transaction currency (MDL), then when converting the withheld amount from the card account, the conditions of the issuing bank will apply.

  For the entire purchasing process, RAVACFEST SRL is entitled to add and/or withhold from the purchase amount a Management Fee from 0% to 7%, and the Buyer agrees that in certain return cases, he/she may receive back the difference between the ticket cost (purchase amount) and the Management Fee (0%-7%).

• 4. Delivery of products/goods/services

  After registering the order, the buyer will receive the digital ticket/tickets (access to the cultural product - film screening or other event, for example) by email indicated by the buyer.

  The buyer is responsible for checking the email indicated when purchasing the ticket/tickets (including in the spam folder). Any subsequent claims regarding the absence of tickets will not be accepted. Access to the event can be obtained based on the electronic ticket by presenting it to the organizers in the manner and under the conditions established by the organizer.

  RAVACFEST SRL is absolved of responsibility for the buyer's keeping and/or loss of tickets, as well as does not respond to ticket counterfeiting, and event organizers may limit and prohibit access to the event in the given situations.

  RAVACFEST SRL offers the possibility of online viewing (video streaming) for a fee of the films made available to the public, as well as the purchase of tickets for the films that are projected (broadcasted/communicated to the public) by the owner in cinemas and other film projection spaces.

  RAVACFEST SRL, together with the Organizers, reserve the following rights:

  • Removing content from the platform and canceling screenings, if no tickets have been sold for the event/other force majeure;
  • Changing prices for events and unsold seats;
  • Cancelling any orders that we consider false or placed in bad faith and/or for fraudulent purposes;
  • Suspending, blocking operations created on the platform in case of suspicion that they are or can be used for illicit purposes;

  Any complaints or disputes will be resolved amicably by the parties, in accordance with applicable law.

• 5. Return Rights

  According to the provisions of Law No. 105-XV of March 13, 2013, on consumer protection, the Buyer has the right to return the purchased product/goods for certain reasons within 14 days from the date of purchase. The money will be refunded to the card used for the purchase.

  Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded, in accordance with Annex No. 2 to Government Decision No. 1465 of December 8, 2003 (Official Monitor 248-253/19.12.2003), as amended by Government Decision No. 1188 of November 2, 2007 (Official Monitor 175/09.11.2007).

  Return conditions for the ticket/tickets amount:

  100% - if the event is postponed to another date or canceled

  97% - if the event does not start earlier than 7 days

  0% - if the event starts in less than 7 days

  0% - if at the time of the return request all tickets have been sold

  0% - after the event has started

  0% - after the event has taken place

   

  Communications regarding the return process will be made through the contact details provided by the user during the ordering process.

• 6. Privacy Policy

  In accordance with the provisions of Law No. 133/2011 on the protection of personal data, the service provider processes personal data. Personal data is processed in good faith and in accordance with legal provisions. The processing of personal data is carried out by mixed means (automatic and manual), in compliance with legal requirements and in conditions that ensure the security, confidentiality, and respect for the rights of the data subjects.

  The provider may collect and process only the personal data provided by consumers when placing an order: name, surname, telephone number, address, postal address.

  Personal data is used exclusively for the administration of the website, to allow access to specific information, for the delivery of orders, or to contact the consumer for the purpose of executing the delivery. By this notice, users and consumers are informed that their personal data (name, surname, telephone number, address, postal address) will be processed and used. The service provider processes the personal data of users and consumers provided by browsing, using, and registering on the website www.FILM.md

  Any information provided by users and consumers of the website www.FILM.md will be considered and will represent the express consent for the personal data to be used by the Provider.

  The provider will not disclose any of the data held to a third party without the consent of the data subjects and will not commercialize, exchange, or disclose this data to other persons, except as provided by current legislation (at the request of public institutions of the state, legal authorities, courts, similarly authorized to process personal data).

The processing of personal data will be carried out by the authorized person of the Provider. The provider uses security methods and technologies in accordance with current legal provisions. The provider does not collect information about transactions, such as card numbers, expiration dates, or country of origin.

  Personal data may be processed and used by the Provider for statistical and further promotional purposes.

  The platform uses cookies and other tracking technologies to improve the functionality of the website and provide a personalized experience. By using www.film.md, users express their agreement to the use of these technologies, in accordance with the Cookie Policy.
