Synopsis:
Ainara, a brilliant and idealistic 17-year-old, stands at a crossroads: while her family expects her to choose a university path, she feels an increasing pull toward a religious vocation. As she contemplates entering a cloistered convent, her decision unsettles the fragile balance of her family, forcing each member to confront their beliefs, expectations and emotional ties.

Alauda Ruiz de Azúa Arteche is a Spanish filmmaker. She won the 2023 Goya Award for Best New Director for her full-length debut Lullaby (2022), which was met with critical acclaim. Her 2025 film, Sundays, earned two Goya Awards and two other awards.
