Ion Borș is a Moldovan film director and producer, known for his works that explore social and political themes in contemporary Moldova. He achieved national and international recognition with his feature film debut, Carbon (2022), which became the most successful Moldovan film and was selected as Moldova's official representative at the Academy Awards.

Ruslan Moroșanu, with roots in television and thousands of media projects, brings a distinct visual style shaped by his Moldovan heritage. Now based in Germany, he co-developed the concept of the film Hotarul with Ion Borș and the team, combining their shared vision of contemporary Moldova with cinematic storytelling.
