Synopsis:

Lenin's Pawn is a hybrid documentary following actor Sergiu Voloc, a modern-day Don Quixote who wages a solitary war against Lenin monuments across Moldova. His rebellion gradually evolves into an absurd confrontation with an invisible system that quietly restores the monuments overnight. Blending observational documentary with dark humor and fiction elements, the film follows an actor struggling to give meaning to his own life in a reality that turns against him.
